Two-thirds of Ukrainians who worked outside the country want to continue this way of earning money. Most go to Poland. The Polish-Ukrainian Chamber of Commerce examined 1025 respondents.
The survey shows that seven out of ten employees brought positive opinions about work in Poland to their home country. Our country is the preferred destination for 60 percent of them. We overtake in this respect, among others Germany. The reason for the choice is, according to the respondents, a good proportion of earnings to the cultural closeness of Poland and Ukraine. As an advantage, potential employees also point to geographical proximity and relative ease of language learning.
The top ten countries where Ukrainians are willing to come permanently include: the Czech Republic, Finland, Turkey, Lithuania, Norway and Hungary. Poland and Germany are at the top of the podium.
The report was prepared as part of the Partnership and Employment campaign run by PUIG under the media patronage of “Rzeczpospolita”, whose aim is to combat negative stereotypes around labor immigration and prevent pathologies in this area.
